Milestone

Six decades early Sri Ram started with bare beginnings as Sri Ram Saw Mills. Over the years we have grown to diversify our company into 11 subsidiary companies.

Sri Ram Group of Companies has been a beautiful and passionate journey of work, focus and integrity to rise up from a small room workhouse to a full blown business venture.

1952

The parent company, namely Sri Ram Saw Mill was started by our great founder, Sri Patel Hansraj Kalji in Dindigul. At the time, it was dedicated to the cutting and sawing operations of the timber which was done manually at that time in Dindigul as well as the surrounding areas. To bring out the time and labour saving measure as well to install some efficiency in such services, Sri Kalji installed the first sawing and cutting unit machine in the town. Soon, all the other similar units came in line to employ such machines, watching its success.

1986

The second firm, Sri Vishnu Timber was established by the next generation entrepreneur Mr. Hansraj, that deals in wholesale timber trading.

1997

Sri Ram & Company was established that deals in timber trade.

2002

Another firm Sri Ram Timber & Plywoods was set to deal in the plywoods and timber transactions. With respect to the market potential and the location advantage, this firm is capable of large scale operations, that requires for the direct supervision of the clients.

1976

The firm entered into trading of timbers as the pioneers of the field. We are proud to quote that the founders of various leading timber trading firms around the region have been a part of our success story.

1994

Sree Bhagvan Enterprises was incepted (earlier known as Sri Ram Tiles).

2001

Established in June 2001, SRII GANESH SAW MILL is focused on importing and wholesaling of the timber wood besides the cutting and sawing solutions on behalf of its associate firms.
